JS Based Web Engineer

Engineering Remote 9 Weeks 12 spots left Posted 29 May 2026

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Full Stack Web Engineer (JS Based) Intern to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript and be eager to master cutting-edge runtime environments and modern framework architectures. As an intern, you will work on real-world projects utilizing modern JavaScript runtimes like Deno and Bun, build highly interactive frontends with React or Svelte, and deploy optimized edge applications using Vercel. You will collaborate directly with senior developers to gain hands-on, production-grade industry experience. Many different skills will be taught including interview, software design, modern frameworks and runtime and best software practices.

What you'll do

  • Assist in developing and maintaining high-performance web applications using Deno and Bun runtimes.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain responsive web interfaces using React or Svelte.
  • Implement serverless functions and configure seamless deployments on the Vercel platform.
  • Design, build, and consume efficient RESTful APIs and handle database interactions.
  • Debug, test, and troubleshoot full-stack application logic across the client and edge server environments.
  • Collaborate with team members on agile feature development, code reviews, and performance optimization.
  • Follow modern JavaScript/TypeScript coding standards and repository best practices.

What we're looking for

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with component-based frontend libraries/frameworks like React or Svelte.
  • Conceptual understanding of modern server-side runtimes (Deno or Bun / Node.js).
  • Basic understanding of cloud deployment concepts, particularly with Vercel.
  • Willingness to learn modern full-stack workflows and adapt to new JavaScript tooling.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to have

These aren't dealbreakers — we'd love them though.

  • Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG).
  • Familiarity with state management libraries and frontend build tools (Vite, Rsbuild).
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows.
  • Experience with styling frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
