Full Stack Web Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Full Stack Web Engineer Intern to join our development team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building real projects with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and is eager to sharpen their skills in production-grade environments. As an intern, you will work on real-world applications using Next.js, SvelteKit, and Astro on the frontend, Node.js/Express and .NET on the backend, and PostgreSQL or MongoDB for data persistence. You will collaborate directly with senior developers, ship features end-to-end, and gain industry experience across the full stack from database design to deployed UI.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain full-stack web applications using Next.js, SvelteKit, and Astro
• Develop robust backend APIs and services with Node.js/Express and .NET
• Design and manage relational and document databases using PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Write clean, type-safe code in TypeScript across both frontend and backend
• Create responsive, accessible UIs styled with Tailwind CSS
• Participate in code reviews, agile sprints, and team collaboration workflows
• Follow Git/GitHub best practices including branching, PRs, and commit conventions

What we're looking for

• Intermediate knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands-on experience with React and at least one meta-framework (Next.js, SvelteKit, or Astro)
• Familiarity with Node.js/Express for building RESTful APIs
• Basic experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Understanding of frontend/backend separation and how full-stack data flow works
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment
• Experience with .NET for backend services

Nice to have

These aren't dealbreakers — we'd love them though.

• Knowledge of SSR, SSG, or ISR patterns (Next.js / Astro)
• Comfort with Tailwind CSS utility-first styling
• Exposure to deployment platforms (Vercel, Railway, Render, etc.)
• Familiarity with ORMs like Prisma or Drizzle
